Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Life in Motion Videography ("we", "our", "us"). By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 A non-refundable booking fee of 25% of the total package price is required to secure your wedding date. This fee will be deducted from the final balance.

2.2 The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of our services.

2.3 All payments are to be made via bank transfer or through our secure online payment system.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 If you cancel your booking more than 6 months before your wedding date, you will forfeit the booking fee only.

3.2 If you cancel your booking between 3-6 months before your wedding date, you will be liable to pay 50% of the total package price.

3.3 If you cancel your booking less than 3 months before your wedding date, you will be liable to pay the full package price.

3.4 All cancellations must be made in writing via email to hello@lifeinmotion.com.

4. Rescheduling

4.1 If you need to reschedule your wedding, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to our availability.

4.2 If we are unavailable on your new date, this will be treated as a cancellation and our cancellation policy will apply.

4.3 There may be an additional fee for rescheduling, depending on the circumstances and notice given.

5. Coverage and Delivery

5.1 We will provide coverage as specified in your chosen package. Additional hours may be available at an extra cost, subject to prior arrangement.

5.2 While we make every effort to capture all key moments of your wedding day, we cannot guarantee specific shots or scenes due to the unpredictable nature of live events.

5.3 Delivery timeframes for your wedding film are as follows:

• Highlight films: 8-12 weeks after the wedding date
• Feature films: 12-16 weeks after the wedding date

5.4 These timeframes may be extended during peak wedding season (May-September).

6. Creative License

6.1 We retain creative control over filming, editing, and production of your wedding film. This includes style, composition, lighting, and editing decisions.

6.2 While we welcome your input regarding preferences, the final creative decisions rest with us to ensure the highest quality product.

6.3 One round of minor revisions is included in your package. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

7. Copyright and Usage

7.1 We retain copyright of all footage and final films produced.

7.2 You are granted a license to use the wedding film for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

7.3 We reserve the right to use footage and stills from your wedding for our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 We will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing our services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, fire, flood, or severe weather conditions.

8.2 In the event of illness or injury preventing us from filming your wedding, we will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable replacement videographer of similar style and experience.

9. Liability

9.1 Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for our services.

9.2 We maintain professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

10.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website.

10.2 The Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of booking will apply to your contract.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
